If you use iontophoresis or phonophoresis in your practice, remember that there are restrictions  on the control of the drugs used in the process.  If the drugs are not under the control of a pharmacy located in the same facility (i.e., in a hospital setting), they must be prescribed and labeled for a specific patient.  Outpatient facilities may not legally retain a general stock of these drugs.  If you need more information, contact the Texas Board of Pharmacy at 512/305-8000.
